The Barnstormers of CS-23

Send in photos or class updates  or Update your Information

23sq"Barnstormers", 1961

The patch is a circular emblem with a World War I aviator soaring through white clouds in the middle of a sky blue background. The word "BARNSTORMIN'" written in blue, sits at the top of the patch, and the red numeral "23" is at the bottom. Red, white and blue symbolizes the colors of the American flag. The barnstormer represents the spirit and daring of the men who pioneered American commercial and military aviation. This, the squadron's third patch, was designed by Ron Lowe, class of 1979.

How have you been? I can't believe it has been 17 years! WOW! I would be happy to send any thing you would like in regards to Dave and the squadron. He loved job and you all so much. You really made the end of his AF career meaningful and memorable.  Please let me know if you have any ideas. I can send you some articles and so forth if you would like. I have a wonderful article that a member of the Dedallian's wrote about Dave not long after he passed. I have some picture from your year as well.

Please keep in touch.

If you are ever in town, my door is always open .

I live minutes from the Academy and Cell is 719-231-0360

So nice of you to remember David, fondly.

Blessing to you, Elynn Fouche
